harmattan season in nigeria

Christmas Christmas time is near…

Time for toys and time for cheer…

It’ that time of the year again but hold up… 2017 is almost over?! We are going to be entering a new year in less than 30 days. As the year comes to an end, we tend to reflect on how we spent the time, the opportunities we had; the ones we maximized and the ones we misused. At the beginning of the year, I know a lot of people set out goals they wanted to achieve, well, I hope you have achieved the majority of them.

The harmattan season is upon us. It’s that time of the year where you have to invest in semi-warm clothing, moisturizing body lotions, body oils and for the natural sisters, protective hairstyles. I’ll have a post up talking about the harmattan essentials, so stay tuned..

I’m so excited for this season for quite a number of reasons:

as a doctor

  • the number of patients are going to be less, as people are expected to go back to their hometowns to celebrate Christmas with family, ergo, decreased work load
  • more relaxed working environment, because the bosses are expected to be in the Christmas cheer, ergo, less expectations for the junior doctors

as a blogger

  • fun pictures for the blog and social media
  • more posts for the blog, as I hope to have more free time to write
  • hopefully, more engagement with social activities, as the festivities would soon begin

These are just a few of the many things I’m excited about this season. Tell me, what are you excited about this harmattan season? What are you looking forward to this season? There’s joy in sharing…remember.

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed the article.
