garnier mineral antiperspirant

Fascinated about the Garnier mineral antiperspirant? Read all about it in this post.

It always amazes me when I meet people who do not sweat in their armpits but rather on their palms. I consider them very fortunate because they can easily wash their hands and get rid of the sweat. It doesn’t stain their clothes or leave a mark…how lucky.

Did you know?

There’s a difference between deodorants and antiperspirants? Deodorants prevent you from that awful smell by reducing the bacteria associated with sweat. Antiperspirants prevent you from sweating and therefore helps keep you fresh all day.

There are several types of deodorants out there:

  • roll-on
  • stick
  • spray

Now, I’ve used several deodorants in all the above mentioned categories. At a point in my life, I though the antiperspirant was a scam because no matter which brand I used, there was always some sweat in the picture.

Disclaimer:

Antiperspirants (which are designed to prevent sweating) mostly/always contain ‘aluminum’ that causes a slight swelling of your pores and therefore prevents the sweat from reaching the surface of the skin. Some believe antiperspirants to be a health risk.

Personally, I would still recommend antiperspirant to whoever needs it. We live in the tropics and it doesn’t help when your skin naturally pours out more sweat than it should.

About Garnier deodorants

Garnier is a known and trusted brand, so using their antiperspirants and recommending them to people does not bother me at all. Their products are also dermatologically tested, meaning it does no harm to the skin. The garnier mineral antiperspirant spray contains both anti-bacterial agents (to prevent odour) and mineralite (an ultra-absorbent, which absorbs the sweat).

In addition to keeping you fresh all day, the Garnier mineral antiperspirant roll on contains a formula that prevents white marks on black clothing, yellow stains on white clothing, and also prevents fading/stiffening of the ‘armpit-section’ of your clothing.

Another wonderful thing about these deodorants is that they do not contain alcohol. Many people do not actually realize that their skin could be sensitive to this. If you have used deodorants and your skin just couldn’t tolerate them, go back and check; they probably contain alcohol.

I hope this post has enlightened you some more about deodorants. Thanks for reading. Kindly leave your comments in the comment-section below.
